[DMTU-News] State Stocking

Members,

Six of us (Steve and Steve, Shane, Bill K, Al, Tim) showed up for the state
stocking on Wednesday, Oct 3 at about 1pm.  We watered the newly planted
trees and sat back waiting for the fish truck to arrive.  Steve brought two
floats, he dropped one at the bridge pool and the second one in the lower
lot because the water was too low to get a float through the fast water
below the bridge.

We were told the truck would arrive before 2pm.  We waited.  Then we waited
some more.

Phil Ewaka showed up about 4pm saying that the truck was delayed and was
somewhere near Downingtown.  We waited some more.  We decided to sit it out
until 5pm.  When the truck still didn't show, we left.

Talking to Phil the next day, he said the truck arrived at 5:15pm.  They put
two buckets at the falls, 2-3 buckets at the bridge pool and (for the first
time in the past ten years) agreed to put some additional buckets in at the
lower lot.  So, the news is not all bad. So our feeders need to hit these
spots starting now.

Turns out the truck broke down on the way to us and had to be replaced.
